My 2013 V60 with the updated display (central speed dial, revs to the right with “shift gear guide”, “eco” driving to the left with fuel bars) had decided it doesn’t want to show me the distance to empty option in the central dial below the digital speed. It will let me select the T1, T2, MPG, Average speed but the box for the Distance to empty is blank. When I switched the car on it was not showing anything apart from dotted lines, so I scrolled through the menu to re-select the option but it wasn’t there, just a blank box in its place? Why would this be the case? It was fine yesterday when I was driving.
The regular fuel gauge is showing as it should: I know it has fuel.

Assistance appreciated. Thanks.

Same issue. 2015 Volvo S60 T5. Analog display. I always keep it on "Distance to Empty". I recently had a pressure sensor replaced after a check engine light came on. With the sensor not working I was using more gas than usual. After having it replace i changed my readout to Average Miles Per Gallon to see about what I was getting. Now the Distance to Empty option is gone. I have an empty square in its place when scrolling through the options. Can't find any other info.

Ok so, I just figured it out. Keep digging in the menu options. There is an option in the trip computer to select or deselect which options are displayed. Distance to Empty was unselected for some reason. I selected it and turned the car of and back on and there it was just like it used to be.
