Hi All,

First time posting here in the Lamborghini section of PH. I've been a longstanding TVR owner (currently own two) but hoping to upgrade the Tuscan soon to a Gallardo. This is a dream poster car for me so its very exciting! Anyone on here made the change from a Tuscan to a Gallardo?!

I'm focused on a 5.0 pre LP car and will be a Spyder in a bright colour, ideally yellow smile

I haven't driven a manual one, only a Egear which was many years ago and (only on a track experience day). I have a Maserati Granturismo with MCShift at the moment too which I really enjoy so assume it will be similar gearbox experience.

Ive noticed a lot of the facebook groups ETC are all for current owners rather than aspiring hopeful ones. Is there a meet or anyone local in Surrey (i live in Guildford) who might be up for having a chat, possible meet up to discuss?

Thanks in advance!

Matt

This is not the type of car to have regular meets five miles up the road from you !

Go down and have a chat at Autoficcina

Thanks...was assuming there might be some owners who might want to chat. Is the Lamborghini circle not very sociable? I'm used to TVR where there is an incredible community of people so hoped it would be similar...

Resurrecting an old thread as I've finally managed to find a car and should be collecting next week.

Its funny how you have your mind set on a colour/spec etc and then you get blindsided by a car that you just fall in love with. Late last month I agreed to purchase a 2007 Spyder in Grigio Proteus with a two tone interior (light grey and black). I wanted a light colour but as soon as I saw it, I just fell in love! Its needed a few little jobs doing but that's all being done prior to collection.

Will post pics etc when I collect smile

Finally picked her up last week and I am absolutely delighted. Managed to get a couple of hundred miles on her already and so pleased. Took her to Port Solent on Sunday and was pleased to see two other Gallardos there!

Pictures as promised smile

That's a cracking looking Gallado colour really suits it.For meets I not Lambo specific you've got the Goodwood breakfast clubs. Also 2nd Sunday of the month local to you the Black Swan at Ockham good variety of cars but have to be there early by 8 to be parked on gravel(field gets really boggy). Also four marks supercar club which is free to join.Been keeping my eye on a 05 manual le edition gallardo be interesting to see what it goes for.

That looks fantastic. The Gallardo design is getting better with age - it is such a clean shape. Enjoy!

I saw the above car at the Drivers Union meet today at Autofficina, it was my first time there, and had a good chat with the mechanics and owners son, very knowledgeable people, and if I was after an independant, they would be towards the top of my list.

Indeed, good spot! She's in having the front lift sorted. It's the first time using them but a very good friend of mine has used them for a few years on hi Ferrari and been very happy.

Thanks! I've been doing all of those events for many years and really enjoyed them with various cars I've owned. The Port Solent meet is also a great event, lovely variety with two other Gallardos last time I went.

Went to an event recently as a three which was good fun!

I used to think the loud colours on the Lambos were the way to go but the colour of your car just looks right exact colour and spec I'd have. Not sure if Chris still runs Autofficina he had an Enzo off memory.

Thank you! I was absolutely set on yellow as it's what I've always wanted, but I went to see this as a bit of a wild card and I absolutely fell in love. It's Grigio Lynx and has a lot of metallic in.

Wow if he owns an Enzo!
