Hi all, new member here (Please be nice!)

So I currently own a C63 507 and a Cayenne GTS. Both amazing cars but I have recently toyed with the idea of selling both to fund a Gallardo Spyder, THE endgame car for me smile

Specifically I'm looking for a pre-LP spyder with a manual gearbox. I've kept an eye on the market for awhile now and usually theres always a few to choose from. However I am pretty particular and would like a green or orange car with relatively low miles, low owners, good history etc. But I'm well aware that in a limited market, sometimes the car you want probably doesn't even exist!

So with that being said, do you guys think I'm being unrealistic? For example, I can't remember the last time I saw a green one for sale, nevermind one that meets my requirements!

Any advice, guidance would be appreciated smile Much obliged.

There are/were next to no green manual spyders in the UK.

You would have a better chance finding an Arancio one but manuals will be rare.

I had an Arancio manual coupe in 2008.........if you want an orange spyder, I think you will have to settle for an Egear........

last time a verdi ithaca spyder was on sale was 2012, and it wasnt manual..... more aranchio cars out there, great colour too, but i dont remember any manual spyders... sadly the press obsession with flappy paddles killed manual orders around this time, oddly though the US market sold more manuals till production ended

Thanks for the clarification guys, I had a feeling this was the case but thought I'd double check.

I agree with the above. I don't recall seeing any green Gallardos prior to Verde Ithica for LP cars, not that I have been looking for one. However in Lamborghini's Gallardo hardback brochure/book (about 120 pages) Verde Picus and Celeste Phoebe (sky blue) are shown as Spyder only colours. The book isn't dated as far as I can see but does have pictures of the Superleggera which was announced in 2007. Doing a quick search there are a couple in Europe, here's a 2006 Spyder in Italy (for colour reference):

Obviously it's LHD and also in Italy which I assume is not of interest and also it's e-gear but some countries did have green. Or perhaps green wasn't the 'in colour' in the UK back around 2006. In contrast there have definitely been sky blue pre LP spyders, I'm assuming without checking that these are also mostly e-gear.
