any owners here? are they as good as the reviews on youtube say they are? anyone have any experience of other variants prior to tecnica ownership.

still got my lp560-2 anniversario, that is a keeper. she just been serviced at lambo hatfield, what a set-up there by hr owen. also mac around the corner.

been watching the videos of the tecnica and guys i respect seem to really rate it. tempted as i think next baby lambo will be v8 turbo hybrid not v10

how many out there, anyone notice how many at the silverstone lamborghini day?

Best colour for the gallardo, sweet ride

Don't like verdi mantis on the huracan, more options now order books closing and a lot more citrus cars selling huracan vs gallardo

Long term lurker with 30 years of supercar experience ( Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren ) so with the lack of response from other Tecnica owners and being one of the lucky few I might be able to help once I'm given the necessary access as a new member in 14 days time.

All I can say is the reviews do not do the Tecnica justice and that comes from a 3 x Performante, RWD and STO owner.
The last N/A V10 from Lambo and rarest of Huracans with numbers seriously limited.

If you haven't got an order in the system your only avenue to entry will be paying £40k overs on the limited used car market but with Huracan values in general very strong this still might be a good long term proposition as IMHO its the last, best and rarest derivative so the one to have

Thanks, every review says the same, best mix... Rwd, 640bhp, direct steering, an sto for the road... A sto touring in essence... First time for any lambo every journo is singing from the same hymn sheet

STO Touring seems a good analogy.
Far more user friendly on the road than the STO hence me trading in the STO at a loss.
Whilst I loved the STO mad looks I just dont do enough track driving to warrant such a hardcore car and on spirited runs on A and B roads the STO is just too harsh with no creature comforts.

Only the Italians could build a car in the STO that misses both briefs - too loud for track and too harsh for the road.

Hence why I say the Tecnica is the sweet spot, more useable, more practical, few more creature comforts but still an engaging / fun drive.
Best thing about Tecnica is the steering, its sublime. I've had both LDS and non LDS in the Performantes ( both feel dead to me ) and the non assist in the STO ( too light or too heavy depending on setting ) but the Tecnica is spot on and right up there if not better than my McLaren 675LT .
Its nicely weighted and so precise, the turn in with RWS assist makes it like a go cart. Its only fitting both the Huracan and V10 engine get such a send off in the Tecnica derivative.
Good luck finding one, I see there are a few flippers on market but my dealer was only allocated a grand total of 6, 4 of which I have seen ( grey, yellow, green and my orange one ).

Is it 12 or 13 Lamborghini dealers so probably sub 100 cars in the UK once they are all produced.

Thanks so much for your insight... My neighbour loves his 765lt but says its sensory overload, good to hear you compare the steering favourably as usually that is a lambo weak point...

Speccing mine this am..

Cool 😎 you must have one of the last build slots.
I specced mine in October and got it in March so you might be Q4.

Be interested to hear your final spec.
I settled with mid spec and circa £40k of options but you can get carried away with ad personum and end up at £300k if you are not careful.

If I had my time again I would of been tempted by Verde Shock but its not cheap and I've had too many green cars recently.

My Arancio Borealis suits the car and looks great in this sun 🌞.
I've seen quite a few in yellow so although it was my 2nd choice at the time I'm glad I didn't go with it in the end as I prefer to be different and I've not seen another orange one yet.
IMHO don't waste your money on the carbon as its not coordinated with gloss black bits

Judging by the lack of replies I feel honoured to have secured 1 of the 6 Tecnica's allocated to my dealer.

Having had 3 Performantes, a RWD and STO I have to say the Tecnica is by far the best of the bunch for a road car.
As well as being the best Huracan derivative its also the rarest and a fitting send off for the Huracan and N/a V10.
Its the last of a dying breed of what I call a proper Supercar.
Hybrid or EV supercars do not interest me in the slightest

Congrats to anyone else who has been lucky enough to get an allocation, believe me you will be blown away with how good it is. The steering with RWS has really sharpened up the handling and that screaming 5.2 N/a V10 defines the whole experience.

Hats off to Lamborghini for producing a magnificent old school supercar the likes of which will not be seen again. No wonder the few that have come to market have fetched £40k premiums in a soft market and residuals are sure to remain strong once production closes imminently

Though sarnie picture upload had got me thinking, again....

Was really hard not to go citrus, indeed match my car

Hoping the factory carbon rear spoiler is an option by the time of my build slot, do think the huracan looks better in a darker, colour despite my bias and really wanted the carbon bits so hence the darker colour... YouTube vids helped to, schmee and motoman drove Blu demos

A somewhat useless point to consider if you’re struggling to choose one… as I also had this first world problem / dilemma.

I received my Huracan EVO (AWD) in Jan… one of the last to be developed, so I am told. I went AWD has I leeway have other RWD cars (GT3s, etc)

I had a chance to switch my order to a Technia, which should be a better car technically due to it being a newer and more advanced model… however I personally prefer the aesthetics of the EVO, and in particular that the rear engine bay runs flat from the roof to the rear of the car on the Huracan.

Both the Technica (and the Ferrari 296) have adopted what I feel looks like a spyder targa dip in the engine bay… similar to the old Toyota MR2. Some people like this look, however I prefer the more aggressive look, and therefor went with the EVO and also because I wanted AWD.

If the aesthetics don’t bother you and you want RWD, go with the Technica.
