Hi all, wanting to buy mazda cx5 2015 2.2 sport diesel, is there many problems/issues with dpf blocking up/light on dash etc ??
Had a Volvo XC60 previously,light on dash replaced both turbos (3.5 k) still had issues after...I don't want to encounter same problem...I'm buying to tow caravan and want a good reliable tow car. Regards

They’re quite well known for having potential issues - turbos, engine coking, loss of oil pressure due to a blocked filter.
Our family car is a 2016 CX-5 with the diesel engine, in 3 years and 25k miles it’s given us zero issues though - now on about 63k miles.
I have had a couple of earlier Mazda 6s that between them had engine coking , turbo failure and head gasket issues. They did have higher miles then the CX-5 though.
