I locked the car about a month ago using the fob rather than just with the key and have been away so haven’t drive the car. The battery is now completely flat and I can’t manually unlock the doors to open the boot.

Any ideas? Soft top fitted in case this helps?

Car is an FE240

Remove the service hatch at the front and you will find battery terminals to charge battery from there.

Not sure for the S3 FE240 but on older ones there are three Allen headed screws holding them on. Terminals are under the left hand side panel.

Actual looks like there is only one screw on the S2 Elise so possibly the same on the S3?

The S3 panel looks to be different to that diagram as it’s a single unit. I’ll investigate in the morning!

S3 has a one piece access panel with different attachment points. See extract from S3 handbook.

Bet the vehicle tool kit is in the rear boot. Balls! I know mine was kept there.
