Saab 9-5 estate tailgate gas lifts

I need to change mine in my 2000 year 9-5 estate. Cannot find a Yoof Toob video on it.
I am assuming I need to remove the 2 screws and the trim between the hinges, and all will be obvious.
Am I correct or wrong, and if wrong, how to I get access to the roof lining? Assuming that is where they live?

Thanks. For the record, my wife and I have one each. Both 2.3 LPT automatics, his and hers. Both around 100,000 miles, both cost less than £1000 because we bought them 4&8 years ago.
