STi 3 door estate / shell

Posting in case an actual Subaru enthusiast is interested.
Back in 2008, Scoobyclinic in Chesterfield started creating a 3 door STI https://www.carscoops.com/2022/06/have-you-ever-se...
which they eventually seem to have sold as a rolling shell.
Just today I see in my local FB Marketplace listings this:
3-door shell. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/26926178...
I’ve no idea if the two shells are related, or whether this is a far more common conversion than I imagined.
But I thought it might be of interest to somebody, hence a post
