Can anyone offer first hand experience of camping at the N24?
I'm looking to arrange it for my mates stag do, with 6 of us going over in a few cars. The website seems to say that the camping alongside the track itself is pay on the day, and kind of allocated on a first come first serve basis but they keep opening more so you never get turned away.
Is this correct from anyones experience? We wouldn't be looking to arrive until the Friday so probably some way behind the hardcore fans and it'd be a notoriously bad stag do it we all got turned away because it was full!

Do you want a view of the track from your tent, or do you just want to camp close enough that you won't have to worry about finding your way back when tanked up (or having to drive)?
If you want to camp next to the fencing, then you'll have to be there about a week ahead of time...and be prepared for one of the regulars to kick you off 'their spot'.
Otherwise, there are plenty of camping options within 500m of any particular part of the track...and with a race ticket you'll also be able to use the free shuttle buses to get you around to different viewing spots (if you don't want to walk it all).
