Hi I have a 2012 Mustang GT which I spent $$$ on here in Florida.

There maybe a chance I relocate back to the UK and I’m wondering if I could/should bring my mustang back. It’s basically a weekend/track day toy.

What the process?
I had the car for nearly 7 years so shouldn’t have to pay any import tax.
What about an Iva test, would it need one as the car is over 10 years old?
The car has kooks headers, JLT cai and a dyno tune. What’s the thinking of the car actually passing emissions?

I know it would have to have a rear fog light fitted and change the rear lights.
Does anything need doing to the headlights?

Can anyone recommend me a reputable company to carry out the modifications?

Thanks for your help

No import duty/VAT to pay as you have owned the car for more than 12 months, you will however not be able to sell for 12 months once imported or imprt duty + VAT vecome due, no IVA required on a vehicle over 10 years old but it will need an MOT, Mustang headlights ae flat beam so no mods required there, as you say it will need a rear fog light with illuminated switch to show when turned on in the cabin, orange indicators also required to the rear along with orange side repeaters, emisions should not be a problem, my import is supercharged and has a dyno tune and passes every year.
There are a few reputable places dotted around to carry out the mods but all depends on where you will be located.
