Taycan battery temp in different modes

Hello,
I have a ct 4s on 21 inch wheels.
I have had three other electric cars and know that my daily routes are harsh on consumption and so am not too surprised by my current 1.9 mile/kwh average but in a mach e that was 2.7 at current temps and similar in an i3s rex.
Does anyone have any data regarding battery temp in different modes. I am intrigued that my car likes to heat the battery to 22 C (with preheat on) in normal mode when the ambient temp is 8-10 and to 27C with no preheat and an ambient temp of 5 in sport mode.
I wondered if all the cars used large amounts of energy to heat the battery in this way?
Other peoples experience would be interesting.
Neither my bmw’s nor the mach e had battery temp readings so it is a new stat for me!
