Hi , i am hoping you guys can help with a query.
I am going to the Spa Classic in May ( 1st time ) and wondered if anyone could suggest the best car park to use ?
We will only be interested in the area around the pits , gone are the days of walking miles round a circuit .
Coming in from the Malmedy direction.
All the best
Mick.

Hi Mick,

If you don't have a car club pass I'd use the two car parks (gravel standing) at the bottom of the run down to Eau Rouge by the RallyCross Stadium. It's on Rte du Fagnou. It's between 8 and 10 Euros from memory. There are two ways to cross the circuit into the paddock from there.

I guess from Malmedy you'd follow the old circuit (opposite direction) and at Les Combes follow Rte de circuit till you get to the roundabout onto Rte du Fagnou. It's called the Sper entrance I think.

There is another car park north of La Source (by the roundabout) but a longer walk.

Don't park at Les Combes, the entrance gate was closed there on the Sunday of the Classic last year...

Thank you PatreseBT52B for that information , that's exactly what i needed.
Having looked on Google maps it's a straight run up to the roundabout from where we are coming from.

Does it get very busy traffic wise , do we have to get to the circuit early ?

Went to the Old Timers at Nürburgring and the traffic / parking was terrible.
I have a car that would be allowed to park infield ( 72 Triumph TR6 ) but the wife refuses to go more than 200 miles in it
so long distance travel is out.
She puts up with a my love of classic car racing so cant complain.
Thanks again
Mick..

Hi Mick,

You are very welcome. I would try and get there before 09:30am on the Saturday if you can - the roundabout got snarled up around that time last year. It's also a car club paddock entrance and that was causing the backing up.

Sunday should be less of a problem as fewer people go that day.

I went to both Old Timer and Spa Classic in 2022 and the latter was the more enjoyable.

Enjoy!
