Test drove a Giulia Veloce today. First off, it drove absolutely fantastically, more like a sports car than a saloon. However, I couldn't really get particularly comfortable driving it. I took it for a short drive, didn't like it, and the dealer persuaded me to try it again on a longer drive. So I went back out, on my own, for over half an hour. I warmed to it, but still could not get comfortable. I really wanted to love it.

I'm 6'1" 80kg, not 'big', close to a swimmers build. I felt like I was too big for the car. My seating position gave me a face full of b post if I turned my head (which I could compromise on), but the seat itself was too narrow, no upper back/shoulder support and the headrest was miles away. Thigh extender didn't touch my legs and the base had no tilt function.

To be fair to the dealer they were great and very patient, I spent a good amount of time in the car even just adjusting the seat and couldn't get something to my liking. I'm in a Mito at the moment and the seat in that fits me perfectly!

I loved the way it drove but the seat really put me off. Is there something I've missed or is the car not suited to taller drivers?

At just over 6ft 6", 100kg, slim build I fit fine. Getting out can be ungraceful though!

I have the seat low, sit as close as I can to the steering wheel and have loads of room. It's the perfect driving position, perfect car in many ways.
