Quotes Not Working

I get that occasionally.

I went back to try that but the error had corrected itself.

The 1/10 is where the previous post had commentary before another post quoted in that case you need to use quote all

The 9/10 it's when the post you want to quote is open and being edited once the edit is finished and the post is resubmitted the quote function works fine

To get anything more I need to quote all

I think that's how it's always been. If you just quote rather than quote all it only quotes the text after the last [ /quote] tag in that post. If you want to quote any text that appears before that then you need to quote all.
