Carcoon order in December - no response

Hi All

Has anybody ordered a Carcoon and received it recently or received any information from Carcoon recently?

Background:

I placed an order in December for an outdoor carcoon. Now I understand you get added to a list and it is sent when ready so there may be some delay (you are only charged on dispatch).

However, I've had no updates, no response to emails asking when I should expect to receive it and I can't reach them on the phone (I've left messages but no callbacks).

I'm beginning to wonder if they are still operating or if maybe there is an issue (I understand its a small business so the owner could be ill etc.).

I hear this a lot about carcoon

People ordering and waiting months for the order or even any contact.

I do think people do receive them in the end.

I used in my garage instead for a similar product. Ordered and it arrived 2 days later

I placed an order in early December as well and received confirmation of the order but have heard nothing since. I also ordered some new filters for my existing Carcoon. I have tried calling but just get the answerphone. I cannot find anything that suggests they are no longer in business.

I received a carcoon in November after having a bit of a wait. Emails/answer phone never got a reply so I just kept phoning until I got a person with the intention of cancelling if they couldn't ship it straight away and switching to ordering the inthegarage.com version instead. Once I got through to someone at carcoon they took my order number to find out what was happening promised to call me back - an hour later I got a dispatch email and it arrived a couple days later. I think they are just st at managing direct to consumer sales.
