Hello all.

Can I use this to line the entire alcove in which my log burner sits?

https://www.travisperkins.co.uk/fire-resistant-boa...

If so, can it also be used as the board which the flue passes though?

The reason for asking is that 25mm fire board from the local flue place would cost over £300.00 to line the thing.

Cheers

p.s - There will be big gap around the log burner, around 25cm each side, 30cm to the top and at least 30cm to the rear.

You could contact British Gypsum's technical department; they will know.

Thanks all.

I've bought that type of board, seems to be perfectly suitable.
