"We'll provide you each with Alpha Tauri uniforms (normal RRP $1,800) and you'll turn a blind eye to the fact that we're a four car team- capeesh"

Official annoucement.

Sorry, but this is dodgy as fk, and dare I say highly likely to raise questions from (eight of) the F1 teams next week ahead of the first race.

Perhaps they’ll eventually agree to dump this deal, but there’s another much more serious story they’re hoping to bury in the meantime? Cynical, moi?

Good move tbh, current fia uniform for race weekends is dire.

Next up for liberty’s glitzing up team, getting mbs to ditch the bouffon.

Getting the bouffon to ditch MBS would be more useful.

Geee you guys are gonna be mighty angry when you find out which F1 team(s) sponsor the FIA and provide them with their safety cars.

Oh, wait.

So why is this a big deal? You people do know that some teams supply critical parts for all teams? What about contracts for timing in the past and more more similar deals?

I hardly think a clothing sponsorship deal is going to make the FIA turn a blind eye to any future issues. People these days boggle my mind at times.

As you say, no big deal. After all, Ferrari provided Mosley with an office and other stuff, and there was never any doubt about whether or not he showed foavouritism to any team.

Whats the reverse of favouratism?? Thinking of Ron..

Anyhow, the FIA have caused an embarassement as AT dont do underwear: they'll have to go commando next year and for as long as the contract. At least with Ferrtai you can get pants. Like this...
