Afternoon all.

Right, where do I start. The parking bds who are The Car Parking Partnership (I think they are an offshoot of parking eye?).

My Mrs picked up a regular gig as a locum clinical practitioner at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow. She was advised to park in the staff car park and provide her reg to the hospital. Which she did, in fact she even went as far as to PAY for parking (which she didn't have to) as she decided on belt and braces approach as it was her first shift. She has worked there two dozen times since, but that first shift triggered the car parking partnership to send her a fine, which we absolutely refuse to pay. They been sent proof that she PAID for the parking and a copy of her signed work shift form for that day, but they have refused it and also delayed long enough that we didn't get POPLA as an option. Now they want to go to court.
Firstly, how do I make sure they send me the date and time for the CCJ hearing? And secondly, what evidence shall I take along to prove no breach of contract (their wording) occurred and put these assholes in their place, as I will not pay them £125 when my Mrs was literally there at the request and booking of the hospital to provide health services to the public.

Is the staff car park a 'paid' car park? Or is it permit only?

I feel your pain, all you can do is supply the evidence you have. What is the hospital saying? Can it provide a letter?

Make it clear that you will expect costs. Your wife earns a fair bit I guess so make sure you claim back

Just because they've said they will go to court, doesn't mean they will. Fairly unlikely they will actually.

Also in official communications leave out irrelevant stuff about providing health services to the public etc.

She needs to speak to the hospital and get them to sort their parking contractor out.

I can tell you're upset but keep it brief and factual. Try to not to think about it unless an actual court claim drops through the door.

First of all you wont get a CCJ .
This will only occur IF the PPC win and you do not pay the fine before it gets to the CCJ procedure stage, and there will be plenty of notice of this

.
It will be interesting to see how they are to go about this

Can i recommend you get onto ftla.uk and start a new thread in the Private parking tickets forum

These guys are good amateurs who have been helping motorists assert their rights and also make sure that the PPC act according to the law ( POFA 2012 if interested)

A Few pointers
Tell everything as it happened

DO NOT tell any lies or deviate from the truth

Listen to what they say

If they give you a template to send DO NOT alter it one iota

They are honest and if they think that the PPC has you bang to rights they will tell you ,to stop you wasting your time. If you have a good case they will give you assistance 100% and in some cases one of thre posters mat=y offer to go to court to assist

Oh its free and no hidden costs worth reading posts on the Private parking forum and also on its predecessor Pepipoo.com to get an idea on how they work

It’s outrageous that the NHS employs these sharks to police their parking, particularly when many of the visitors won’t have parking fees etc at the forefront of their mind.

It’s also outrageous that the DVLA supplies personal details to companies employing far from ethical practices.

Good luck OP, hope it works out.
