Build slot for a base 911... May Delivery

Presumably there will be a brief hiatus between 992.1 production ending (April ?) and 992.2 production commencing (Base and GTS - May/June).
Friend of mine said he had enquired about a final production 992.1, because he didn’t like the spy shots of the new 992.2 and thought it would be too tech-focussed.
He was told there are no more spec changeable build slots for most models, but there will be a few dealer spec’d cars coming through. Might be worth phoning around.

No one quite knows.
Generally a newer model 911 has some improvements, but moves further away from the 911’s origins.
All cars seem to be getting more tech-focused these days, so I can hardly keep up with all the ‘new’ iterations of BMWs, Audis, Mercs, Porsches…..
Also, UK 992.2 deliveries may not come through until late in the year, so you would likely miss this summer.
