Hi All,

I’ve ordered a new Alpine head unit to replace the standard Becker unit (now 21 years old).

It’s been about 20 years ago since I mucked around with car hifi…

This is the wiring diagram for the standard head unit

Any ideas on which harness adapter I need to buy? (I don’t want to mess around with the existing wiring)

My Google skills are letting me down!

Cheers
Phill

Does the standard radio have steering wheel controls or any other devices connected to it?

If not, you shouldn't need any adapters, as the 2 plugs with 8 pins are the ISO connectors, and usually the radio harness has swappable permanent and ignition live leads on them wink

Thank you for this! Did a test fitting earlier, everything works but unfortunately due to the shape of the dash i've had to send it back. I think i'm going to try and find a flip out screen instead.

If your Becker units works, I would be interested in buying it from you.
