This is sending me mad.

I work with 8 tabs on Firefox. Earlier while trying to do something else I accidentally closed one of them and I can’t for the life of me get back to the page I had open on it. No worries I thought as I’m sure I had this tab set to open automatically on startup along with all the others. Rather than just closing and reopening Firefox ( in case that recorded my closed tab as a permanent startup change) I thought I’d simply look at the details of the tabs set to auto-open in the settings - but I can’t find them.

I either imagined that they exist at all, perhaps confusing them with another browser, or I’m being particularly stupid. Does anyone know which it is ( it may be both)?

Have you tried Menu > History > Recently closed tabs?

Or you can just reopen a tab that you closed accidentally by pressing Ctrl + Shift + T.

I can't see anywhere that a defined list of tabs is stored. It would be under Tools>Settings>General>Startup.

For next time, "control shift t" will reopen the most recently closed tab.

Thanks for the help guys. I finally found it under History, Manage History which was keeping tabs on all the pages I had visited for the last 6 months.
