New business idea, ideas for seeking external support

I have an idea for a new business, which I really feel could be a big thing, and that currently there is a massive gap in the market for. I've run my own business before, and whilst I believe I'm rather good at selling (I worked it out that I secured the business from approaching 75% of people I got in front of in my last venture) I'm not so great at being a 'business man'
For what are hopefully obvious reasons I can't say what the idea is, but can say it's an online business, aimed at a specific demographic, and it's aimed at peoples lifestyle.
Accordingly, I would be looking for something/one along the lines of a Business Angel. I appreciate they come at a cost, but ideally would like this to be a percentage of company ownership, rather than upfront fees etc. I appreciate they're not going to give their know how away, and that if something like what I'm looking is available, their stake would be high. I've come to the belief that where business is concerned (for me, at least) that it's better to have a small percentage of a massive pie, than a massive percentage of a tiny one.
Any advice or thoughts will be greatly appreciated, just please don't be too harsh with me, as I've had the mother of all days. Also, I'll be putting the laptop down shortly, so it may be the morning before I can respond further.

Ah, sorry if I wasn't clear. To help me bring the idea to fruition, to help me grow it, and ultimately to get it to the point that it's the success I hope it could become. I'll happily consider whatever such stake may be required.I have started a spreadsheet, to try and get ideas and the like put together, as a starting point.

At the other poster. No, not money. Guidance, helping me achieve the goal, embryonically. When money becomes a requirement, I can then consider the best approach to obtain funds.

Ideas are the engine driving a project. There is only one reason that an idea succeeds and that is you. Accordingly, I would be looking for something/one along the lines of a Business Angel.
Most people told that idea only give you hundreds of reasons why it won't work.
For Business angles you need your vision put into writing. A business plan, a marketing plan is the least you need, having someone committing some seed money could give you the edge needed.
