Who is your current insurer?

Give Howdens (formerly A Plan) in Thatcham a call ( has to be thatcham branch) or Adrian Flux

Brentacre? They insure my Firebird and my campervan too, can't fault them to be honest, I've been with them for a good few years.

My Ranchero is insured with Classic Line Insurance (classiclineinsurance.co.uk) at a cost of under £200 per year with unlimited mileage and complimentary breakdown and recovery cover.

Never had a claim but have had cause to speak to them with amendments a couple of times and they've been very helpful on the phone.

I did try A-Plan (now Howdens) as I've been with them for years on my main car but they couldn't get near Classic Line on price, Flux were also very high on the pricing.

Out of interest, and to aid anyone looking for insurance, which is the company that say they will not cover US cars?

Yep, my '32 Coupe is insured with Brentacre as well, and also been with them for a number of years.
