Mornin' all,

Does anyone know if the entry list has been released yet? It's usually around this point...

Haven’t seen the entry lists yet albeit the schedule of races and timings have been published.

Much of the important information will appear here when it is available: https://www.barc.net/event/81st-goodwood-members-m... - we use it to run the race meeting side of things.

Ditto, love the build up to this.

I see there's a 'Gerhard Berger moment' that has hitherto not been mentioned. Knowing some of his reputation as a younger man the mind boggles, but does sound interesting - another McLaren?

Happily, Gerhard's moment is him driving his old Ferrari 640...

...and very good it looks too.

The driver line up for the Mustang race is pretty epic.

Otherwise, very much looking forward to 20 GP Bugatti's racing, the sidecar shootout, the cracking CanAm lineup and the sound from Berger's lovely high revving V12 (please don't let it break!).

If there is the usual live televised link, could someone post it on here? I'm stuck many miles away.

It was easier to find than I expected. The usual slight pauses in transmission which can be irritating.

I had a great weekend there, the exceptional weather made a big difference. But where was everyone? Saturday seemed about on par with previous years but Sunday was significantly quieter. I hadn't noticed, was it a sell-out or were there still tickets available before the event?

I was interested to ask how well the event was attended this year to understand whether the member unhappiness on this forum was a storm in a teacup or has had a real impact on membership numbers and attendance. I didn't renew my membership this year after ten years of full membership and would normally have attended the MM. I guess I'm not alone but I didn't expect it to have a material impact given the sheer number of members and associate members.

Interesting.
Both myself and my mate commented that it seemed very much quieter than previous - particularly the Sunday.
The banking around Madgwick which is usually full, was noticably sparse.
One thing I did notice was the breakfast had come down in price... was £25 for ineddible muck last year, this year was back to about £17 and not too bad, As it happens we went to 'inspect' before buying breakfast as we did expect it to be poor - but was fine.

Of course, there were not any 'Member Benefits' to see. Everyone had the same access, Member, Associate, or Public.

I managed to liberate a spider from Ken Tyrrell's Woodshed.
I don't think the spider was looking for Members or non-members on which to hitch a ride.

In my opinion its a far better event than the arrival (and far better value).
The numbers were just right - plenty of opportunity to see the racing around the circuit - I thought Madgwick was similarly busy to previous years.

The sidecars shootout seemed popular.

Loved the Can Am cars demonstration.

The evening entertainment in Saturday seemed to have fewer 'acts' but that's nitpicking really

I also got to see my first Monteverdi in the car park !

My father and I both thought yesterday was quieter than last year so much so, that after last year and the frustration with so many people attending this year was the MM last chance.
Really pleased to say we had a fantastic day and will return next year.
I’d really like to know if the numbers were limited by design or happenstance.

The Members' Meeting has always been limited to 20,000 per day. This is in contrast to 50,000 per day for FoS and Revival so is always quieter, but this year it felt less busy than usual.

I knew that the numbers were limited lower than the FFOS and Revival but we’ve been going the last 6 years to the MM and 2023 felt significantly busier on the Sunday than in previous years, this year felt more like the previous years if not slightly less busy.
I was hoping that the GRRC had listened to the feedback around the numbers following the 2023 event and had taken some action but maybe it was just happenstance. I hope not as 2023, for us, was unpleasant as we are in North Devon and we would be looking at alternative events if this was year was a replication of last year, happily it wasn’t and we really enjoyed ourselves.
