Just had an email from Harwoods with offers on warranty discounts, im guessing the other dealers will do the same. Its not a huge amount but good they are trying to boost the market along with the new service pricing.

Any idea what the discount is on warranty for super series? Do you need to be an existing customer?

As above, i would imagine if you are registered on your local dealer database they will let you know.

The cost will be more if your car isn’t already covered on the extended warranty, will need an inspection and any faults rectified before they will sell you one,, think it’s about an extra £500 for the inspection..

Do you have to get the car serviced at McLaren to keep the warranty valid or can you go to Thorney or V, etc?

Mclaren only for their warranty is my understanding

So if the car is under warranty at renewal does the dealer do a pre warranty inspection?

No it’s just a continuation,, as long as you’ve owned over 90 days. ( that’s the official line)

I just read on 'supercar General' forum that a Lamborghini Aventador is £7063 to renew in warranty and £10,600 out of warranty.

Worth every penny.

My 600 LT went in for its 4th year service and got pulled up on a leaking damper and split upper bushes, the warranty paid out for all the work.

I was under the impression that the warranty was around £2.7K anyway following the removal of the recovery ??

Also just noticed they are doing warranties for the super series for 10-15 years, although that might have been a thing already.
