C63 W205 Standard equipment and additional packs

Standard equipment on the W205 C63 is pretty good. Personally speaking though, I wouldn't worry too much about the actual trim levels and work on an individual car basis. The minimum I would want on a C63 is the Panoramic Roof, Burmeister sound system and adaptive LED headlights (they are superb) - most (but not all) came with those options.
After that, premium plus spec would get you things like radar cruise (Distronic), 360 cameras etc.
However, if you are in any way a petrol head (which I assume you are given you're on Pistonheads), you will want a car with the 'Switchable' exhaust (not to be confused with the 'Performance' exhaust) which has 3 valves and a button to control it manually in the car. You will also want a pre-facelift (pre-2019) car which isn't fitted with the OPF's in the exhaust - which rob the car of much of its character.
I recently sold a C63S (2017 car) and the exhaust/pre-facelift were deal breakers for me. Of the things I miss, the raw, hard edged sound is the main thing. I swapped into a 2018 E63S and its quiet in comparison (because of the OPF's) - although the uplift in performance does make up for that a bit
That being said, the older cars have older tech and the 7-speed gearbox (vs. the 9-speed on the facelift), which I didn't mind as I wanted the driving experience and not the tech experience.

I had a facelift C63S night edition premium plus... pretty much every option you can imagine.
Radar cruise and matrix headlights were a must for me, the HUD was never used if I am honest. Pan roof is a nice option, but again I had the blind closed most of the time.
Never really had an issue with the exhaust sound, but I didn't have a pre-facelift car to compare against.
Lovely car, rapid, comfortable, just heavy and a bit numb.

Trust me when I say, the noise out of the facelift cars is *extremely* quiet compared to the pre-facelift. My car had a wonderful hard edge, raw sound to it, particularly when shifting up or down at WOT - I got an incredible 'whip crack' type noise out of the back which always put a smile on my face.
In comparison, my E63S is like a church mouse, unless i'm absolutely ringing its neck.
I have to disagree with the 'numb' and 'heavy' comment though, did you ever get it on track? I did and it did not disappoint - sure its no Lotus, but it certainly wasn't numb....

The reason I moved it on was specifically it had no front end feel, great in a straight line but no confidence when pushed in corners, very heavy and moved around quite a bit.In comparison, my E63S is like a church mouse, unless i'm absolutely ringing its neck.

Went back to Porsche (GT4) and it's night and day in terms of handling/feel.
There isn't much difference in UK cars specced, and don't think there are many at all with all of the options ticked.
I went specifically for a pre FL car, non S but switchable exhaust. I think that's the sweet spot as you don't need the big S brakes on the street, the S seats aren't great and the mech diff of the non S is preferable.
Overall however, I echo the sentiment above in that the car is very numb whilst also being ridiculously stiff and poorly damped. Kept it for 18 months then moved it on

Not sure why you wouldn’t want the S, given you can never have brakes that are too big (as well as all the other extras)…the sports seats elevate the car in my opinion, making it stand out from the regular models. The seats are also worth trying before discounting them, I found them supremely comfortable in my previous C63S and now in my E63S.
As for being too stiff, I liked that in mine, reminded me I want driving a normal car…..
