Great video I think.

I especially liked the closing summary with Henry's new take on Clarkson's analogy of owning a TVR is like owning a bear...

I must agree ... showed the Tuscan Convertible ( smile ) as a great car ... but he should have tried mine with Powers 4.5 Super Sport and Nitrons smile

The Chim 450 is good for supermarket shopping too smile

I'll have to keep the Beemer for towing the trailer to the recycling centre until I've suss'ed getting a tow bar fitted to the Chim.

I like the parallel ... " It's like owning a pet ...." Mine are at the Vets next week smile

I always like any review Henry Catchpole makes and this didn't disappoint.
More engine/exhaust noise would have made a t perfect.

Nice vid that captured the essence of the Tuscan well.

I have to say I still prefer the interior look of the Mk 1 Tuscan (door release either side of the radio) but I've never sat in a Mk 2 or 3 to really compare.

I've been considering selling my Convertible but I know I'd regret it.

Those door release buttons either side if the radio are a hastily conjoured up afterthought. The original intent was that you press the window winder knobs for the door releases. But people kept knocking them with their knees and inadvertently opening the doors, hence the reposition. Super early cars, and the red on in the vid have that original feature still if you look closely. No door releases by the radio.

My first Tuscan had the door release with the window button on the transmission tunnel, my door opened while doing 20mph on the way to Le Mans 2000!

Mine didn't have the third catch on the roof either, until the recall in summer 2000 after several roof panels had come off at speed

Nicely done.

Would have thought the Speed 6 claim to fame power output would have been lauded. It is quite a big bit of automotive history and quite probably one that will never be surpassed all things considered.

Swordfish did it for me! I believe Travolt still has his mk1

Sublime

Yes, the Speed Six being the most powerful NA inline six cylinder automotive production engine ever created is an awesome fact that’s been missed by everyone over the years.
