Hi All. Got a lease BMW i5 arriving next week. I’ve got the ref number (YF24 UPT). Is there anyone that can either tell me it’s vin number or exact spec? I’m just wondering if it’s any options on it or not.

Thanks

I don't think you can from just the reg, someone might know differently though.

You'll need someone who has the 'other side of the fence' insight to do it via the reg

But there are paid services for car checks that'll give you the full VIN as well and then you can decode is via the likes of MDecoder etc - such as CarVertical

Thanks for the reply. The car isn’t showing up on my car check yet. Only just registered and I’m not sure how quickly they update

You definitely can from the reg.

Step 1: Vin Wiki - search with license plate.

Step 2: bimmer.work

Edit: your car is too new for Vin Wiki so you’ll need to do it through BMW

Thanks. The car is now showing on dvla so I don’t know if it’s visible for you to see the spec?

Can't you enter the reg into BMW warranty website which then spits out the vin?

Then use vin decoder site for spec.

Or does that not work anymore?
