Any one done a wrap on a Caterham??
Debating a colour change, but wondering about paint vs wrap- costs etc?
Will be taking bits off i am sure- as i won't be stripping the car

2nd one- can you convert live axle cars to wider track front suspension? not sure you can?

Can't help on the suspension front, but a good respray would cost 2.5k+ depending on anything else that needs to be done.

I had mine done by Tony TSK a couple of years ago and he did a fantastic job. The car needed some new panels and a new bonnet due to some creases and a little corrision, but Tony really knows his stuff and I'm very glad I made the trip down to see him.

You can upgrade your suspension to widetrack but will need to change to the De Dion type of wishbones and uprights and leave your existing trunnion set up behind. You will need the top link upgrade to give you the new extra fixing point for the top wishbone and you will need the spacers for the damper units and steering rack.

Its all pretty straight forward and probably worth having a chat to Bruce or Phil at Arch Motors if nothing else to see about changing the front fixing point for the bottom wishbone. On a live axle car, you have a lug that stands off the chassis and has top hat rubber bushes with a small fixed bolt to hold the wishbone in place. On the DD set up, you have this lug removed and the DD wishbones has a metallastic bush and a much bigger/longer bolt through the chassis to hold it in place.
