OK a bit of a laugh and I have had some red.
Anyone support an 'Escape from New York' style prison for London to be turned into, as it has turned into a complete $hit hole!!

Could you just not come? I'm sure we'll cope without you.

I believe that the OP is drunk and is displeased somewhat with the Nation's capital.

That's basically the crux of most of these London/Bradford bashing threads. Mostly by people who don't actually live or work there...

I suppose you'd have to qualify their opinion by interviewing them with regards to them working and/or living in London/Bradford.

Lived on the outskirts and worked in the Tottenham Crt Rd area . Dirty , smelly overcrowded crap hole with little to offer if you're not into clubs, shops, theatres etc , full of sullen commuting people that rarely speak to each other with any form of courtesy.
You don't realise how bad it is until you visit decent friendly towns or cities.

All my neighbours seem happy enough.

I remember working in Batley in West Yorkshire, sort of a mini Bradford. I found the local community to be absolutely fine, in fact a pleasure to be around.
In saying that I wouldn't want to live in London, nothing to do with the multiculturalism more to do with the fact that I'm a country boy and like fields and woods and fresh air.

I've been saying for years that the M5, M6 and M42 need turning into prison walls to keep the pesky Brummies inside.

Keep all the local drivers away from us sane people.
Those that complain about the M25 haven't experienced that area on a Friday or before a bank holiday weekend.

the biggest problem with that idea is that, unlike Manhattan, London isn't an island you can seal off...

Batley isn’t great but it is absolutely nothing like Bradford in any way.

I don’t live anywhere near it but I do work in Bradford and there isn’t one thing that’s endearing or positive about the place.

It was in the 1980's when I was there, may have changed since.

~40 years is a long time.

Bradford might even have had something going for it at that point.
