I bought a lovely Jade green 2015 Dacia duster from a dealership in Aylesbury, 24 days later the cambelt snapped (I had been told it was serviced and had a 52 point check).
This dealership has had my car now since the end of January, I’m not rich so it was the only car I could afford to run, I’ve been over 5 months with out a car now, I’m so skint that I can only go for the below 5k civil case.
They have stopped replying now, they did offer to fix my car if I paid towards it, and they have refused my right to a refund even though it was with in 30 days of purchase.
And now it’s upto me to pay for a case against them, surely they should be a rule in law about the refund in 30 days that should have police intervention, I guess it’s just driving laws that they are interested, frustrated as fk.

Unfortunately the Police will not get involved at all as it’s a civil issue, have you tried Citizens Advice and Trading Standards?

Citizens Advice would be my first stop also. This sort of thing is what they do.
