Hello Chaps.

I currently can't sleep, as some builders have decided to remove their scaffolding at 1am. I've tried ringing the local police, but no answer! The council offices obviously are not open either. What shiould I do regarding this? And if no one answers in the morning, who should I report it to?

Thanks.

It's probably too late now, but call the police and report either:

a) race crime; or

b) gun crime.

Both will bring a horde of cars, vans, helicopters, men in blue uniforms, men with braid on their caps, and men in white coveralls. ["men" includes persons of both sexes - S]

However, in the second they will establish a perimeter about 1/4 mile from the property whilst they compile a Method Statement under HSE rules.
So I'd go for the first. If you get asked why you reported it, tell them that it was dark, you could see men milling about, there was a lot of noise, there was shouting, you thought you heard someone yell "Paki" (of course, it might just have been a neighbour shouting "pack it up!", ...

Packing up scaffolding at 1am I bet it wasn't theirs to start with.

Tsk tsk Ghost.

Speed cameras are static so they cannot attend and shoot with their cameras.
