I had a hire car on July 13th, and have just recieved an NOIP for driving 72mph in a 40mph temporary speed restriction on the M6 that day.

The hire car company did have my address wrong, hence why it has taken 2 months for the NOIP to get to me, but as it has been recieced outside of 14 days - do I have a leg to stand on?

Also, what action do you think will happen? Points and Fine? I think I would rather a short ban and fine!!

Thanks

If the orogoinal NoIP was served to the hire company within 14 days then that route is closed to you unfortunately. If you want to find out how to fight it using other methods, have a trip over to www.pepipoo.com

Hire Company will be the Reg Keeper.

First NOIP would be sent to them within 14 days. Service good unless you can prove otherwise.

With NOIP would be S172 Form to name driver which Hire Company from their records have advised SCP who have then sent 172 form to you to name driver, your goodself.

72 in a 40 not good. At that speed under guidleines it will be a summons and appearnce at Court for a sentence greater that the Conditional offer and maybe even consideration of a disqualification.
