This November will see the first anniversary of our highly successsful, almost monthly meets.

Originally arranged at The Grasshopper Inn, Westerham, the venue was changed to The Woodman, Ide Hill by popular demand. The first meeting saw in excess of 40 cars attending and I believe we've achieved at least that number at every subsequent meet - even double that at the height of summer!

Regular marques in attendance include TVR, Cobra, Lotus, Ultima and Caterham, together with occasional oddball appearances from the likes of Porsche and Ferrari - not to mention a lonely Jag when it's not soaking up more cash at the specialist

So, who thinks it would be a good idea to make a 'big deal' for the first anniversary?

Suggestions could be...
A whole day meet.
A meet with a drive.
A meet at The Grasshopper with a drive to The Woodman.
etc etc...

So what do you all think, and when in November would you like it to be?

Cheers,

Iain

I'm up4it, bring the 996TT along. Either the second or forth weekend or any evening would be good for me.

Iain why not make it the fourth Sunday, then that other mad lot in their cobras might just be persuaded to rumble up from the Grasshopper, or we all meet at the Grasshopper and mass cruise, convoy or outright Blat to the Woodman ????

Sounds like a plan.

How does that work for others?

Will definately have to be another weekend then - can't be without the TVR clan!

Probably worth making it earlier in the month anyway to avoid any potential early xmas conflicts.

Iain, not a problem, just let us know what day you decide upon and I dare say a few or 10 of us might just turn up anyway.
Any excuse for a run......

Sorry for the delay guys.

Nick has suggested SUNDAY 4th DECEMBER as the TVR peeps are fully booked throughtout November.

Obviously we want to get the biggest turnout possible, so I want to check with people here incase it clashes with something which will stop you all from coming.

So - a quick heads up, who's in and who's out?

PS: I think the best format will be to meet up around 12:30pm at the Grasshopper first to enjoy a shandy and take advantage of the large carpark to get some group photos. Perhaps we could organise the parking into marques (It usually happens anyway).

Edited to correct date - rather important!

Then, around 2pm take a convoy up to The Woodman, where Nick will join us (and maybe buy a round ). Some more photos then whilst waiting for food.

Any comments?

PPS: S Works - any chance of spreading the word to the Lotus boys?

Sounds good - my Lotus should be nice and loud by then so I needn't hang around until everyone else has gone before unleashing the sewing machine
