Hi all,

Showing on BBC1 Scotland this evening (Wednesday 9th November) at 7:00pm, current affairs programme 'Frontline Scotland' will examine issues surrounding speed cameras. I participated extensively in the making of this programme, including a number of interviews.

I do know that the programme will be strongly critical of some of the data used surrounding speed cameras and raises the regression to the mean (RTTM) issue. For those that can receive it, I hope it will be a 'must watch'.

BBC1 Scotland is available out of area on Sky 941.

Please feel free to forward this message around.

If anyone has their PC set up to record programmes, I'm quite willing to upload this as a torrent so that the rest of us can watch it.

If anybody does record the programme on their PC, please pm me and I'll give you instructions.

I should be able to record it on my DVD recorder - as long as it doesn't conflict with anything else I'm recording at that time.

I'll let you know once I've checked!

Edit: Just checked and there's no conflict - should be able to do something with it this evening.

Just re-encoding it now (it's currently a 1gb mp4 file) and should be able to offer a few sizes/formats on Isohunt or such.

Anybody see it then? I have to confess that I chose to ignore it assuming that BBC + speed traps would be a one eyed speed traps good preach.
Had I realised Safespeed was involved I'd have watched.

Here it is, in DIVX/XVID/AVI format at 572x352 (as it came from the DVD): http://isohunt.com/release.php?ihq=&a

All I can get is: "Torrent not available, or database sync in progress. Re-sync can take up to 3 hours."

Is this some peer to peer file sharing thing? What software is needed?

You need a bittorrent client: try ABC or Azureus

The isohunt one hasn't replicated through their database for some reason - the other one should work fine as that's directly hosted on my machine at home. Although I did accidently put into sleep mode last night, so it would have been down between about 12 and 9.

Can anyone host this programme so that I can do a traditional download please? The bit torrent method doesn't work for me.
