If i put this together, who would be interested?
I normally go twice per year (May/Septish) and so i've put some feelers out.
what i'm thinking is...
ferry
hotel (4/5*)
trackday (noise unlimited
)
hotel(4/5*)
ferry
also
chase car with TVR Mechanic and Full trailer (just in case), spare tyres/spares.
can do some training for Rookies, and a DVD of you in your car around/on the track.
I would be looking for 6-7 cars to get some discounts and i reckon it would cost around £600
(if we are lucky, we might find that there's a public "Ring" day afterwards!)and we might even manage to get some TVR Pro specialist instruction for a few bob more!!!!!
as before...non-profit Monster day! The Monster may be incorporated into a larger event this year, or this could be the Monster for this year. unkown as yet and depending on other TVR/Sponsor issues.

Granted, that was the old bus stop but even so... that's flying!from the top...
Boss, could be fun eh? we pulled 3:04 without trying too hard and with a 16st passenger. should be up for a 2:50 without too much of a prob.

everyone would be welcome! As with the original Monster, the idea is to promote track use.
ANYONE will tell you that Spa is THE track, available today. Short of the "Ring" its the ultimate in motorsport.
Au Rouge is an experience, worth the trip in itself.
Ofcourse, if we can get a "Ring" trip in as well...

If you know your way around on a bike you'll be fine in a car!
Car days are less busy and for some reason, less "frantic"
looks like it could be on! a few more would make it interesting? 10 would be a good number a
For the Run down, Track, and the Bar!
Can do the scenic route if required...make it a bit of a Holiday!

always a weekday (racing at the weekend)
Day 1
Ferry at 9ish (possible overnight/beers at Dover)
Blatt down through france/belgium (scenic route via Riems)
overnight at Radisson/Dorint or similar(cheaper is possible but hardly worth it!)
Day 2
Trackday - all day. Some cameras, instruction etc
chase stuff-front & rear-from my car, pro photographer on site.
overnight at Radisson/Dorint again.
Day 3
Back to Port, via City de Europe etc if req'd.
meet up at ferry 1500ish
I generally find that a trip to eastenders is all thats req'd.
Ferry prices are now VERY close to Europe and its not worth the bother unless you want particular booze.
Fags are cheap enough on the ferry, tho belgium is cheapest.
spirits/lager volumes at eastenders
I would suggest a split off in the morning of last day so that people can do what they want.
4hrs back to ferry - book on the 1400. (ticket will be transferable!!)
Possible Full Monty...(this would be another £150ish for hotel, would not include Ring Laps)

Ring is very close (2hrs) from Spa. I would try to
Day 3
Get to Ring for Public day
Few Laps in the PM (if open it could be open till 5 or 7pm)
overnight (i know a couple of places within 1/2 mile of track)
Day 4
possible Full ring day (for Die Hards!)
overnight again
Day 5
trip back (takes all day!)
This, as a trip, is the Ultimate in Trackdays! Spa-ring is the best! two legends in one trip.
Trust me, Ive done 100+ Ring laps and been to Spa several times.
I've also been to Imola, Dijon, Magny Cours, Zolder, Brno, A1 Ring, Monaco, and trusst me Spar-Ring is the best by far. And a TVR always gains interset at the Ring, so just think what 6-10 will do!

Hi Andy, you can add me an interested party, dependant on dates etc. Planned to get a trip in this year and was looking at maybe one of Ted's Hoons and maybe a ring trip. This could be an alluring alternative especially appealing if primarily tvr (and backup vehicle would be a reasurance!!!).
Will keep an eye on the thread. Nervous novice as far as trackdays go but would try to get a uk one in before then anyway.
