Tyres for S2 again

Need a new set of front tyres and really do not like the idea of getting ripped of by Lotus/Bridgestone for a new set of Lotus only Potenza's.
Has anyone experience of 'other' tyres on S2 Lizzies

I belive Mothercare stock an extensive range of pram tyres that can be fitted a direct replacements for the S2 front tyres.

An extra benifit being there availiability in white as well as black. Not sure about the rears though.
