Any more PHer's in attendance? Will be there in the NSX, along with BarryJ in 996TT. Hoping for rain!

I was considering giving it a punt as my first track day in a lowly 1.6 MX5, but up against that sort of machinery I'm not so sure. lol Will depend on whether there are any places left a bit closer to the date I think.

1.6 MX5 will be loads of fun out there, dont worry about "being up against" other machinery - its not a race! RMA days are generally very well run and probably wont be too busy at this time of year so you should have plenty free time on track; could be perfect for a novice.

Was reading EVO and came across this one. Quite fancy it. It'll be my first too!

Cool, look forward to seeing you there. I racked up 600 miles in a G earlier this year - very impressive car, I'm sure it'll be huge fun on track (and bl00dy fast!)

where are all the rma people going next year for their trackday fixes? I might be at Bedford on Feb 4 with my new mota for my first trackday.

Nothing scheduled for next year yet fella, but liking your choice of car; should be great fun on circuit. How are you finding it? If do happen to find ourselves on track at the same time fancy swapping for a couple of laps?

i havent yet had a chance to drive it properly - too busy sitting in front of a computer. But it's treating me well so far. I fit in it for one thing, which I don't in a standard 182. A bit of swappage sounds like a plan, but I'm a bit poor to be on track a lot!

I shall be there too, I have a silver Golf GTi, but will be making use of various Track Club cars too (Radical, Caterham & maybe Exige).

I have found this a great option to owning and looking after a track car. See here: www.track-club.com/index.htm

If any PHers are interested and want to chat about it make yourself known.

I think it will be cold!

I went down today on spec. About 14 didn't turn up so I got in. Great day except broke the db level along with about half the cars that turned up. The reason was blamed on the very cold air and unfavourable wind direction! So got stopped 2 hours from the finish. Great fun though.

Worth contacting these people on the day about an hour after registration to see who has not turned up. As they might be at the circuit, ring a couple of days before and get a mobile number for one of the organisers. Then try them on the day.

we had five cars there today and thought it was a conspiracy against us that four got double flagged throughout the day and had to sit out. they were all within 1 db of the driveby level. ive been on palmer days there and it always much louder! u can see why the rma are going abroad now. we race in europe as it is much more friendly and you get better track time.
