How do you guys with black cars look after your paint work without getting circles in the paint?

More to the point........ how do i treat black paintwork which already has a few circles??

Cheers,

Mike

or pay Booster to do it - he is rather good at this detailing buisness..(professional term I believe) using an array of amazingly expensive polishes and potions, one of those porter things recommended by ukhsv and lots of elbow grease..

Black is a nightmare, end of story. You will nearly always get swirl marks. Its best just to ignore them, as you only see them close up.

Having said that. 3M Hand Glaze is superb for black cars. Its hard to use in that its quite difficult to get off. Use plenty of clean cloths. But it really does leave a black car black.

Ive also used Mer, left it on for a good while then removed. I think it works pretty good, and is very easy to use.

Try Meguiars Scratch X for the swirls then the 3 stage system they have i.e. paint cleaner, polish and instead of using stage 3 use their NXT wax. I had a pacific blue jag (you'll see it on my website) and I could hide the swirls with the above techniques no probs. If the swirls are in it already, it is easier to hide them than to try and rub them out.
