What do you guys take with you for a track day?

I take:
Engine oil (250ml)
Gearbox oil (250ml)
Clutch/power streering fluid (100l)
Water (for me and the car) (3l)
Some spanners & screwdrivers
Car jack
Spare wheels & rubber
RAC card
Mobile

Is this overkill? I'm stating to think I need a support car with all that!

I would have thought that as a minimum you ought to add foot pump and tyre gauge.

The only obvious omission from all your lists is a car...that surely has to be the most useful thing :-)

I take a rucksack which is commonly refered to as the "kidnapp kit" as it contains lots of zip ties and duck-tape!!

..as well as the boot containing "all of the above"

Insurance? I've tried getting it a couple of times - seems too expensive for what you get covered.

I guess I'm not that bad really then... I must try harder!

I also take a big lockable box with a bike lock so I can lock everything up to the nearest lampost etc whilst Im out on track.

If sprint racing add collapsible chairs (long wait between races).
Also take a gazebo if in a group of friends for car prep if it rains or just sitting out of the sun.

Also take a camera as there is usual some unusual cars around!

I used to take a boot-load of spares and tools, but now I just take:

Foot-pump
Oil
Spare set of brake-pads and minimum tools required to fit

I'm all too aware of the whole "all the gear, no idea" thing, so i take:

Car
Wallet (containing £10 note for helmet hire)
Sparco gloves

Most of the other stuff can be blagged from fellow trackists if in desperate need. there's usaually a petrol station within striking distance of most places if you need an air line. I might have some oil on me, but i've given up taking it now as i've never needed any before so i figure any future loss of oil is likely to be fairly large scale.

However, if i ever get to the point when i cease to drive like a terrified pensioner, then i will buy a towcar and take everything i can think of.

Hmm, maybe I'll risk it in the new year and just take the car, wallet, mobile & house keys! ... (and space-saver spare & jack) ... (and the tools to change the wheel) ... (I should probably take some water to drink too) ... (and a petrol can could be useful) ...
