e.mail problems?

I posted a thread in the pie and piston

where 2 members have said they've e.mailed me - unfortunately I haven't received them.
Last month would be the last time I received an e.mail via the PH system....so was wondering if there was a general e.mail problem or whether hotmail have just decided to add PH as a spammer.

I bet it is hotmail. Check your junk folder

There's nothing in my junk folder- and it says it's emptied every 5 days...so they should have been there if that's where they ended up.

Hotmail has been binning many of our emails for some time now.

I will be changing the system so that you can read PH-PH emails on here to circumvent that. That'll be a while yet though.

No it hasn't arrived.
I guess I'd better change my e.mail address in my profile then- not much point in using the hotmail one if it's not going to work.

I've changed my profile e.mail addy now - it did say that PH would send a comfirmation mail to my hotmail one...which arrived straight away!!

Just to confirm there was nothing wrong with the PH side of things....received a PHers e.mail to my new e.mail address just now.
