Yeah out on the road again, checking a few things for my father in Barry, where do you work mate? our paths seem to cross regularly in and around Barry. It would be a shame not to get the car out whilst the weather is good, see ya around.

As part of my New Year's resolution I have started walking and missed getting the Chim out today as I - wait for it................

.........walked from Broad Street, Barry to St Athan, then back to the Blue Anchor (East Aberthaw) for a few (4 pints of Old Peculiar).!!

Got a lift back to Coldbrook Rd and walked back to Broad Street. 15(ish) miles (the route we took). Left the house at 09:30hrs this morning and got home at 15:30hrs........

Bloody knackered - top off hooning is more my thing - (could have driven that distance in half hour in my Chim).!!

Keep fit is for whimps

Hi ben I work on the camp so it seems we may bump into each other quite regular. A guy I work with is ex BAMC, Adam Knight, maybe you know him? or even Chris Coles? I know of a few BAMC guys and they work silly shifts. Ive seen your motor on your profile and will keep an eye out.

Do you have friends or relatives in St Athan? also I wouldnt mind a look at your Chim, I may be moving up to a V8 in the next 12 months or so and the Chim, V8S or Griff all look favourite, cant make my mind up though. See ya mate, cant wait for summer roof down etc.

Pete Holland is the only guy on my team that is ex camp at the mo.

Im sure there are plenty more we could talk about, perhaps at the next PH run/meet!!

Definitely worth the walk - the beer in the Blue Anchor is superb and thanks for the offer of the lift......

I have no relatives in St Athan that I know of - I'm a Cardiff boy (Llandaff originally).

My chim is going in next week to have all the shocks and the anti-roll bar drop links (courtesy of Steve Heath) replaced.

When that's done, we can get together - you're more than welcome to take a look around. Will be nice to check out the S2.

Are you a TVR Car Club Member.?? If not, a few months back, they did a comparison between the V8S and Chim, and the Chim came out way ahead - it was basically the next generation TVR after the V8S, and so most of it's attributes were an improvement. I'll dig it out if you haven't seen it - I should be able to scan it in a email it to you.

Cheers Nick, hmmmm good reading, may help out with my quest. Oh, now I have a loose rear diff, looks a simple enough job to sort, i.e. tighten the front and rear bolts on the brackets, I hope.
