Didn't get any replies in the colour thread, so I thought I would ask in a new thread...please feel free to post your own colour/paint code questions as well.

It could be Viper Grey. It looks very similar to a car I looked at not so long ago at the TVR Centre and that was called Viper Grey.

Looks like bmw silver grey perhaps. Ironically with a titanium silver bmw in the background. I like it, but often think TVR's look better in bolder colours, but thats a personal choice.

It's definitely not iced titanium as that's the colour I have nor is it grigio titanium - the slightly darker originally ferrari colour as used in the first prototype sagaris.

It could be this one couldn't it which is a BMW colour?

www.dreammachinestvr.co.uk/display_vehicle.aspx?vehicle_id=177

for me it's too close to the anthracite wheels colour and a contrast would be better

trouble is there are a lot of slightly different titaniums around, it might be hard to find the exact one.

That’s my car, but I’m not guy standing behind it – I wondered why there was a fuelling problem on the way back from Le Mans!!

The colour is Lamborghini Grigio Avalon (or Avlon depending on who you ask, even Lambo dealers don’t seem too sure)

The idea when choosing it was to get as close as possible to the colour in photos in Sprint of the original prototype. Getting the same actual colour as the prototype (Iced Titanium I think) wasn’t an option as it doesn’t look like the Sprint photos in real life.

Grigio Avalon is similar to Grigio Titanio, but side by side with a Titanio car my colour has a very slight hint of violet/blue in it and more metallic flake.

I've seen the BMW colour mentioned above and it is quite a bit darker.

Yes, it looks to me like BMW 400 ( called "Steel Grey", though I always thought it looks more like "Gun Metal Grey" ).

I like it with the anthracites, but you guessed that...

The first prototype sagaris that did the dealership tour and was launched at MPH/Clarkson live motorshow was Grigio titanio, the ferrari colour which became a popular for the 550 maranello.

The birmingham motorshow later in the year had the Sagaris in the candy apple red on the TVR stand with the revised rear and 19" typhon wheels. At the same show the Autotrader stand featured another iced titanium Sagaris which was what made me order mine in that colour. Either way they look pretty darn good in most colours.

Thanks for all the replies. Octane booster...lol!

I saw the grey/blue car at the Autosport show in Birmingham, as well as at the MPH show, but I didn't see the red one until I went to the factory. I agree TVRs look good in bold colours, but they also bring out a "plasticky" element sometimes, and if you live with it day to day, then the (excessive) attention gets tiring. I love these sophisticated muted colours, and of course there is that super-glossy black which is fantastic. But black hides details (sometimes a good thing!). You can always go loud with the interior for a nice bold but restrained look.

The Grigio titanio on the Ferrari's is a bit dreary compared to this. I just love this one. To the owner, what interior colour did you spec?

This grigio, rosso-pearl or candy apple red, super glossy black, yellow, that perfect shade of green in the Sagaris video, the chameleon orange, they're all superb. Sagaris owners just need to form a club and caravan to work together.

Exactly, it's my only car and having had a Formula Red Tuscan before I really wanted something a bit more understated. I almost went for black but my girlfriend persuaded me it wouldn't show up the shape of the car so well.

The interior is black leather with slate grey stitching and slate grey lamonta on the doors, roof and middle of the seat uprights. Some of the leather is perforated around the pod, gear stick, radio and seat inserts. I know some people prefer lighter colours, but for me this spec is perfection.

Hello TSS,

I took the picture of your beautiful car on Le Mans 2005.
At the moment I drive a 996 c4 Cabrio BUT...... September 2005 I ordered also a Sagaris in the Netherlands. Last September I had the oportunity to drive in this amazing car in the Netherlands. From this moment I am also poisoned with the Sagaris Virus. Hopefully I see you this year at the same corner at the curcuit of Le Mans.

TSS, thanks for the info. Any pics of the interior? I would love to see it--sounds very tastefully done.

Dutchdude, I am very jealous! When is delivery? What colour did you spec? And where is the nearest dealer to you?

Hello orgasmicliving,

I ordered the Chameleon Orange Sagaris at Nimag B.V.
Nimag B.V. is the nearest and only dealer in the Netherlands. It is the oldest dealer outside the UK of Europe.
The BIG question is when does the LHD Sag comes to Holland.
The Factory: “We are still aiming for an end of April 06 completion date and we will do our utmost to fulfil this”.
I think however that this is Not possible!

Hmmm, I don't see why it's not possible. The only issue with LHD is rerouting of the steering column because now its path lies directly through the exhaust headers. They figured it out with the LHD Tuscan, so it should be relatively straightforward to do it again in the Saggy.

Chameleon orange is really nice! What colour(s) interior?

Yep, each to their own I guess. But I wouldn't spend £50k on a car and have it painted grey. I'm not even a fan of big German metal barges when they don't have topcoat paint ;-)
