with the introduction of nightvision on the new mercedes s class merc and the ability to buy aftermarket night vision camaras that can be hooked up to screens in veh.

like the ones the trafpol use in the range rovers and bmw's, what would the resident plod do if they witnessed someone using the aftermarket vision on the road and what does the law stand in regards to incar camaras/screens/visual enhancers?

a lot of night vision and image enhancing stuff can get damaged or white out if they are subjected to bright lights like headlights, so i'm not sure they'd be that practical to use on the road.

They could make use of a 'white light inverter' also found on a certain less useful road safety tool.
