any one had problems with theft / damage?

hi i am about to buy an elise ( i hope ) but the car will most of the time be un garaged and will also park in the city a lot, is there anyproblems with the car from theft? or damage point of view? will i need tracker what would people recomend do i need to worry about my car ?

I don't think you have to be overly concerned with regard to vandalism and theft unless you park in a bad part of town, or on the route between pubs. Your gut instinct should be a good enough guide there.

Elise security is pretty crap so never leave anything in it, even out of sight in the boot. As for Tracker... personally I wouldn't want my car back if it was stolen so unless it's a condition of insurance or you really like the peace of mind aspect then save your money.
