Parts for my '77 S1 Esprit

I'm looking for a supplier for S1 body parts. My '77 Esprit has S2 bumpers. I want to restore the car to the original S1 bumpers. That would also require replacing the rubber side moulding. Anybody know a source for such parts?

Also, souvenir hunters stole all four of my hubcaps on my Wolfrace rims. Does anybody know what I might do for replacements?

Normally I would send you to SJ but since the parts you requested are front bumpers particualr to the USA Fed car try Ray at RD www.rdent.com he handles some of the older stuff. or JAE.

Actually, I would prefer the European S1 bumpers rather the the federal USA spec bumpers. I live in Texas, where regulations are practically non-existent. (everyone here carries concealed handguns, legally)

Do you have a suggested source for such parts?

Well there is SJ sports cars in the UK that has those parts. But I think the mount points, some valence parts, and certain other things are different. We had a disscusion on this very subject a few weeks ago at the club Christmas party by a member who is restoring his S1. According to the people in the know the European bumpers are quite a bit lighter by maybe over a 100+ pounds. The suspension on the Fed USA cars are stiffer to accomodate them. So the ride might be a bit harder, but you are taking the weight off at the right places, on the ends of the car. It should help the car out overall. You will need to place a a few parts other than the bumper itself. I don't have an S1 so at the party I did not intently listen to the exact parts. I could probably get you in touch with Tim Engel (The person who seems to have a lot of info on this subject). if you like and you can have a nice email chat with him on the subject if you like.
