Airfield in essex?

I'm looking to do an airfield day, but don't want to travel too far if I can avoid it. I am in billericay in Essex.

Anybody know of any airfields 'daaan sarf'?
I know of the tracks down here (bedford, brands, donnington are ok distance to travel for me) but fancied one of these airfield days to check them out

North Weald - Car Limits ( 1st Lotus) operate there. They are in PH advertiser list.

cheers guys, bassinbourne is what I was looking for, I knew there was one as I looked at it before but forgot the name!

I already have the 1st lotus thing booked up for the summer

abingdon is reasonably close too, reckon 1.5-2 hours away from me tops, just over the other side of m25 by looks of it
