Not sure if this is really possible was just a thought really, would it be possible to have some means of checking if a post has been done before?
would need some means of looking into the text put in the title and extracting some of the key words, and then doing a search on threads started on the same day.

would only be possible for peoples names i guess, but might save some of the bandwidth issues.

It must be possible somehow, vbb does something similar showing Similar Threads or something like that.

Not sure on saving bandwith, or even if that is an issue, but it would create a load more queries on the databse is my guess

agreed could make the database struggle on posting links. would also need some means of allowing certain things like what car threads which are the same but different each time
