I noticed that this new company was incorporated on 16th February, with a Golders Green (London) address. Anybody out there in Ginettaworld know anything about it - first step towards a Ginetta at Le Mans, perhaps?

Should that not read 'THE' G10? - I have always been led to believe that only one genuine car survives, and the others are carefully crafted G11 conversions (but I might be wrong on that one...)

More than one G10 was built... Chris Meek raced the first when he slaughtered the field at Brands, including one of the low drag E-types. Some have converted G11s but on the same hand my genuine G11 chassis No 2 was built by the Walkletts using a G10 chassis!! Specialists manufacturers are not fussy, if it's there, they use it!

I know - they built two. But my comment that only one survived - is that not right?

It is unsure just how many 10s were built. The launch G10 at the 65 Racing Car Show was a convertible, the Meek G10 was a convertible, the same car? I've heard stories that they were not. The l/h drive D reg coupe G10 bought by the Yank and tested by Triple C - is this the same G10 that ended in Venezuela, and other stories abound still. How many survive? One, possibly two - who knows? Where is the missing G11 coupe? All these years ...

First time message - yes, I have formed Team Ginetta Ltd with a few race plans in mind. Early days, but I am in discussions with relevant individuals. Who knows what the future holds.

On a seperate note, I have decided not to renew my GOC membership.

Hi Winner

I see that there has been quite some debate over the past year. I don't want to add to the comments posted. I wish the Club well and hope it survives.

Sorry!!! I feel like I am the only one who thinks the GOC is going down hill and run by a couple of guys who don't have all the owners in their portfolio so to speak. They ask you for contributions but don't use them if it does not fit in with their objective what ever this is...Some mouthy G20 owner or his friend will now tell me I am wrong!!!

Hi Winner - last May I drove the G10 from London to Jerusalem via 13 different countries. During this 3 week trip, I had Damon Hill in the car,
I did 8 laps of the Hungaroring against Lambos, Maseratis, Porsches, Jaguars etc and crossed the line second, got pulled over in 9 countries for the police to "examine" the car, had double page spread articles printed in car magazines in 3 countries and raised (with my fellow participants - there were 28 cars in all) over £620,000 for charity. Mark and Ivor Walklett had helped me prior to the trip with advice and information - yet I couldn't interest the GOC. Hey ho!!!

Hi davyde, you had Damon in the car! What we need is Damon at Goodwood Revival (or Festival up the Hill (pun not intended!) in a G4 (or 12) - put a word in 'his ear' (for all of us 'real' Ginetta supporters}.
Nice one for 10/11 lovers. Any pics?
