Hi Ted

Looking at the P&P today - it's a bastion of good behaviour and interesting debate.

However, it's not much (dare I say it) fun.

Is there room for a new room do you think? Along the lines of the P&P but with less rules where anything goes? I believe it would be a real success and would increase the quality in the P&P further.

Thanks for thinking about it.

I think it would attract the wrong kind of poster, and their inanity would inevitably spill over into the other forums.

Absolutely not. If people want to behave like children then they can set up their own forums. It's got no place on here.

Thanks for the mildly insultive reply to a genuine question Ted.

For what it's worth a lot of people don't consider a different sense of humour to be childish - just different.

I've shown a lot of people in my office some threads (the type that probably are banned now) that have had us all crying with laughter - I guess we must all be children then.

I can see Ted's point on this one. Previously, threads were areas of debate with many a witty retort thrown in which had me in stitches. Now, the majority of threads just trun into a complete free-for-all with nob and gay 'jokes' aplenty. That is what is childish. People can still have a laugh.

Ok, sorry if I misinterpreted your question and the reply seemed insulting. That wasn't my intent.

I've absolutely no problem with good humour and your cleaner thread certainly had it's moments so that was left intact.

I don't want a forum on here where "anything goes" though.
